Orchestra Workshop 2022

Parents and guardians, we need your help to make the Orchestra Workshop run smoothly. Fill out the Parent Volunteer Sign-Up Sheet as soon as possible, ideally by the evening of Thursday, 3 March, to help.

Come to our 2022 MMS Orchestra Workshop!

Instead of our usual camp, we will be holding a 2-day workshop on Saturday, 5 March and Sunday, 6 March at Moanalua Middle School (MMS). Students will have opportunities to learn from well-respected music educators in the community, bond with each other, and develop MMS orchestra pride and spirit. See the flyers on this page (created by our wonderful Orchestra Officers) on how to make make this a fun and spirited event.

Our awesome MMS Orchestra Boosters is covering the instructor teaching fees, so you will only have to pay for lunch, if you choose to order it. The lunch fee to cover both Saturday’s and Sunday’s lunches is $15. Sorry, but we cannot accept orders for only one day. Lunch order must be for both days. Saturday’s bento will be hot dog, teri hamburger patty, mochiko chicken, and rice. Sunday’s bento will be mini katsu curry. Please provide exact cash payment or write a check to “MMS Orchestra Booster Club.” If you are not buying lunch, you must bring your own for both days. Everyone should bring their own water flasks or bottles.

Please turn in lunch payment and the “Parent/Legal Guardian Authorization for Student Participation and Travel” form by Friday, 25 February.
